Heat Resistant Aluminum Gloves
Our aluminized gloves are made for metallurgy, foundry work, welding, glass processing, heat treatment and other high-temperature environments. Their multi-layer thermal structure provides protection against radiant heat, contact heat and mechanical hazards. The back of the hand uses highly reflective aluminized material to reflect radiant heat and reduce heat transfer toward the hands. Depending on the glove design, split cowhide or aramid fabric is used across the palm and other high-wear areas.
- Thick split cowhide leather provides good resistance to abrasion, tearing, welding sparks and molten metal spatter.
- Heat-resistant and flame-resistant aramid fibers also provide protection against cuts and tearing, without melting or dripping under high temperatures.
- Creates an insulating air layer inside the glove to slow heat transfer.
- Extended cuff provides extends protection to the wrist and forearm against radiant heat, sparks and molten metal particles.
- Can be used with heat-reflective hand shields and high-temperature finger guards for more demanding high-heat applications.
