FR Welding Cap
Our FR welding cap is made from washable flame-retardant cotton fabric and stitched with flame-resistant thread. The cotton fabric is treated with a flame-retardant solution that forms a protective char layer when exposed to heat, which stops further burning without melting or producing hot droplets.
Its full-coverage design protects the top of the head, ears and back of the neck. An elasticated back adapts to different head sizes for a secure fit, and the lightweight, breathable cap can also be worn underneath welding helmets and industrial safety helmets for better wearing comfort.
The cap provides protection against welding sparks and light spatter for welding work such as arc welding and MIG/MAG welding. It is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 for protective clothing used in welding and related processes.
Fit: One size fits all.
Care: Machine or hand wash normally without bleach or fabric softener. Air dry in the shade and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Welding cap
The brim adds more than a different look to the cap. It helps intercept small particles and sparks coming from the front to reduce direct exposure of welders around their forehead and eyebrows for a little extra coverage during welding work.
Welding Doo-Rag
Welding can generate considerable heat around the head, so the doo-rag can be fitted with a breathable mesh lining for better airflow and wearing comfort. Adjustable ties at the back make it easy to fit different head sizes and shapes securely
