Leather Welding Helmet with Auto Darkening Filter Lens
This leather welding helmet is made from flexible split cowhide with good heat resistance and stitched with DuPont Kevlar flame-resistant thread. The full-coverage welder hood extends around the head, ears and neck for a complete protection of the welder's head during welding and grinding work. It is widely used for long working periods in pipelines, tunnels and other confined environments.
The flip-up front gives welders an easier way to switch between welding and other tasks without taking off the entire helmet. When closed, it effectively protects the face and neck from sparks and spatter during welding, then simply flip it open in the middle while welders work on other operation jobs. This reduces the trouble of repeatedly removing and putting the helmet back on throughout the process.
Care: Avoid washing the leather with water for daily care but simple use a damp cloth to wipe away any dust and surface dirt. The helmet should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to reduce the risk of the leather drying out or cracking.

Side slots can accommodate both standard filter lenses and auto-darkening filter lenses. With an auto-darkening lens installed, built-in sensors detect the welding arc and automatically adjust the lens shade. Welders can maintain a clear view without manually lifting the face shield.
-
The front face shield stays down during welding to protect against spatter and arc light. When lifted, it gives the welder a normal field of vision for cleaning the weld surface, checking alignment and preparing for the next weld.
-
An elastic strap at the back can be adjusted according to head size for a secure and comfortable fit.
-
The back uses a hook-and-loop closure for quick and easy fastening.
-
The extended cape covers the neck and shoulder area to prevent sparks and welding spatter from falling inside. It provides additional coverage against arc exposure.
